Dr Babak Moharrami
Principal Dentist (DEN0001331625)
Dr Babak Moharrami graduated from Qazvin University in Iran in 2000 and treated patients in his native Tehran for seven years before moving to Australia. He passed the Australian Dental Council (ADC) exams in 2007 and 2008. Having demonstrated his excellence in dentistry, Dr Moharrami began serving patients at Fairfield Dental Healthcare Clinic in Fairfield, NSW.
During his three years with the Fairfield practice, Dr Moharrami gained valuable knowledge and experience. In 2011, he opened his practice in beautiful Mona Vale. He worked at both practices until 2013, when he devoted himself full-time to his BMB Dental Clinic. Dr Moharrami has been a part of the Mona Vale community ever since.
What Dr Moharrami finds exciting about dentistry is managing both his team and his patients. Each patient has different needs, and he aims to consider all possible options for dental treatments so patients can pick which best fits their needs and budgetary considerations. Dr Moharrami also strives to be gentle and considerate and enjoys many referrals. He feels honoured when patients recommend him to their friends and family, considering patient referrals among his greatest achievements.
Though teeth play a vital role in our social relationships, Dr Moharrami understands that every person prioritises their care uniquely. He enjoys being a dentist because he can help people achieve both oral health and a beautiful smile, things that can impact their lives in countless ways.
When not treating patients, Dr Moharrami enjoys travelling and playing tennis.

After graduating from Charles Sturt University in Orange, Dr Ali has built his career around helping patients with everything from routine dental care to more complex restorative and surgical treatments. He is committed to high-quality, ethical dentistry and takes pride in helping his patients achieve healthy, natural-looking smiles that last.
Dr Ali believes good dentistry starts with trust and clear communication. He takes the time to listen carefully, explain treatment options in simple terms, and make sure each patient feels confident about their decisions. Known for his calm and friendly approach, he focuses on creating a relaxed and supportive environment, especially for patients who may feel nervous about visiting the dentist.
He has a strong interest in cosmetic and surgical dentistry, particularly dental implants and wisdom tooth removal. Dr Ali completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) through the University of Sydney, which allows him to provide both the placement and restoration of dental implants. Being able to manage the entire process gives patients continuity of care and predictable, long-term results.
Dr Ali is also passionate about digital dentistry and the role modern technology plays in improving accuracy, efficiency, and overall patient comfort.
Outside of work, he enjoys staying active by playing soccer, training at the gym, and spending time at the beach along the Australian coastline.
Bita
Dental Assistant and Practice Manager
With over two decades of invaluable experience, Bita seamlessly juggles her roles as Dental Assistant and Manager. Her journey began with a foundation in Dental Technology from TAFE Randwick in 2007-08. While initially immersed in the world of Dental Technology, Bita heeded her true calling as a Dental Assistant. Since joining the BMB Dental family in 2011, she has been an integral part of the team, transitioning to a full-time role in 2016.
Bita's genuine passion lies in helping and connecting with people, evident in her genuine desire to assist both patients and the team in her dual role. This has been a driving force throughout her years of unwavering dedication to the field.
Beyond the confines of the practice, Bita enjoys leisurely strolls and immersing herself in a good book. Notably, her profound connection to dentistry extends to her personal life - Her unique connection to dentistry? She is married to Dr. Babak, further solidifying the tight-knit team at BMB Dental!
Luza
Dental Assistant and Front Office Coordinator
Luza worked as a dentist in Columbia for a year and a half and has been a dental assistant in Australia ever since. She loves the life-changing possibilities dentistry offers to patients by creating beautiful smiles.
When she was a child, Luza was embarrassed to smile because of a big gap between her teeth. Her mother took her to the dentist, which changed her life and inspired her to work in dentistry as well.
When she's not helping patients, Luza loves spending time with her husband and going to the beach with her dog. You might also find her painting, doing puzzles, going to movies, and cooking. Something that people might not know about Luza is that she's obsessed with Halloween and forces her husband to dress up with her every year!
