Getting Started: Your Initial Consultation
The first phase is always your consultation with the dentist. At this visit, we determine your candidacy for treatment and whether you’ll need pretreatments—for example, extractions to accommodate your teeth adequately when straightened.
You’ll also learn how long you’ll be in treatment and if there are any costs to consider. We also discuss what to expect during and after orthodontic therapy.

What to Expect with Clear Braces
We take impressions and send the results to the Invisalign or ClearCorrect lab. The lab creates your tooth aligners and sends them to our clinic.
After you pick them up, you start treatment. This means wearing each aligner for approximately two weeks before moving on to the next in your supply. You come in periodically for monitoring during therapy.
You can remove your aligners to eat and clean your teeth, but we recommend wearing them for at least 22 hours daily for best results.
At the end of treatment, we give you a clear retainer to maintain your results over time.
